Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. To see rates, the quote tool needs your gender, birth date, overall health assessment, tobacco status, benefit amount, and term length. These six pieces are sufficient for carrier quotes. Personal information like name, address, and health history only gets collected if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the prices carriers offer for the health class you picked. After underwriting, the carrier sets your actual premium and may confirm, upgrade, or downgrade your class. This site makes no insurance offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and we build the application from your chosen quote, then hand it off to the carriers' secure platform. Pausing and resuming is fine, and signing happens electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, oversees the application process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies based on the carrier, your benefit amount, and your answers. Carriers with Immediate coverage labels make quick decisions for qualifying applicants; each quote specifies whether an exam is definitely needed, might be needed, or isn't needed.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term for the period when your death would damage your dependents financially: mortgage years, child-raising years, business obligations. Longer terms raise monthly costs but freeze your rate longer. The quote tool shows you 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year side-by-side comparisons.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Quotes don't ask for contact info, we don't buy or trade your data, and we use no-cookie tracking. Check our privacy page for the full list of what's captured and who captures it.
